Shipping
We use a shipping partners (FedEx, DHL & Royal Mail) to safely deliver your Goods.
We aim to dispatched all orders from our offices within 2 working days of receiving your order. Goods are shipped fully insured for their full commercial value for both domestic and international customers.
All delivery times quoted on this website are estimates provided by our shipping partner and are subject to change based on numerous global factors including inclement weather, transit delays and customs clearance where applicable.
For orders outside the United Kingdom (international customers), You are responsible for all import costs and tax applicable in your destination country. These costs can be calculated on your Governments customs website.
You will be provided with a tracking reference by our shipping partner when your order leaves Our offices.
Warranty
Solo Automations Ltd provides the SOLOreader device with a 12-month warranty commencing on the delivery or collection date. During this 12-month period, Solo Automations Ltd warrants that the device will be free of material defects that prevent its normal operation.
If you have purchased the SOLOreader device as a consumer and not for commercial use, the warranty will apply during such longer period as prescribed under applicable mandatory consumer protection laws. Solo Automations Ltd will not be liable for any damages or defects to SOLOreader caused by normal wear and tear, improper use or by accident, malicious damage, hazard, excess humidity, liquid ingress, electrical stress, or other environmental conditions not commonly found in a normal safe working environment.
Solo Automations will not be liable if the defect arises because you have failed to follow Solo Automations’ written instructions as to storage, installation, use or maintenance of SOLOreader or if you alter or attempt to repair the relevant device without the written consent of Solo Automations Ltd. Solo Automations’ warranty does not extend to cables, accessories, plugs, or power supply units.
Warranty, guarantees and support are non transferable.
Care taking & handling
Keep the SOLOreader in a cool, dry place (ideally, 22° C) and the maximum operating temperature is 40° C (Celsius).
Use a lightly damp, soft, cloth to clean the device’s exterior. Do not spray any type of liquid directly on the device and do not get moisture in any openings. Do not use solvents. Make sure nothing gets inside your device through an opening, such as the LED light slots or USBC port. Do not expose to shocks or negligent handling.
Changing the battery is not permitted. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
Do not charge battery below 10°C or above 40°C.

Important notice regarding use
Solo Automations Ltd supplies the SOLOreader device for use by you or your business, as applicable, and you agree not to use the product for any resale purposes.
You must not use the product for any purpose other than cueing music and special effects through your installed version of the SOLOstudio app. You may not modify the app or the hardware of the product in any way, save to the extent permitted by mandatory law.

SOLO® & SOLOstudio® are registered trademarks of Solo Automations Ltd and must not be used, in any form, without prior written consent of Solo Automations Ltd.
Feature Request
Definitions
The ‘User’ is, you, the person who submits the feature requests.
‘Us,’ refers to Solo Automations Ltd.
‘Software’ refers to, but not limited to, SOLOstudio and SOLOstudio PRO applications.
‘Feature Request,’ refers to any idea submitted to Solo Automations Ltd.
‘Feature,’ refers to the specific function of the idea submitted to Solo Automations Ltd.
Feature Request: The User may request additional features in Software, provided, however, that (i) the User shall waive any claim or right in such Feature should Feature be developed by Us; (ii) The User shall be prohibited from developing the Feature, or disclose such Feature Request, or Feature, to any 3rd party directly competing with Us or any 3rd party which may be, following the development of such Feature, in direct competition with Us; (iii) The User warrants that the Feature does not infringe any 3rd party patent, trademark, trade-secret or any other intellectual property right; and (iv) The User developed, envisioned or created the Feature solely by themselves.
Returns

If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with a purchase We invite You to review our policy on refunds and returns. The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined
under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Return and Refund Policy:

- Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.

Conditions for Returns
In order for the Goods to be eligible for a return and refund, please make sure that:
- The Goods were purchased in the last 30 days
- The Goods are in the original packaging
- The Goods are unopened & unused
- The Goods are found to be in full working order with no signs of damage or tampering to the Goods or packaging
- You have the receipt for your Goods
We reserve the right to refuse returns of any merchandise that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion.
Faulty Goods
It is your responsibility to return the faulty device to Solo Automations Ltd.
Solo Automations Ltd will, in its discretion, either repair or replace faulty devices within 90 days of the date of receipt of the device.
Solo Automations Ltd advises you to carefully check the device before dispatch to ensure that it is defective. Any device returned which is not found to be defective or has been damaged or misused by you will be returned to you and you will be invoiced for the cost of shipping. A repaired or replaced device will be warrantied for the unexpired portion of the original warranty.

You are responsible for the cost and risk of returning the Goods to Us. You should send the Goods to the following address:

We cannot be held responsible for Goods damaged or lost in return shipment. Therefore, We recommend using an insured and trackable mail service, packing the Goods safely to ensure they are protected in transit. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the Goods or proof of received return delivery.
